UNO COUNSEL, S.C. (the "Firm" or the "Controller"), with registered address at Ámsterdam 255, Colonia Hipódromo Condesa, Alcaldía Cuauhtémoc, C.P. 06100, Mexico City, Mexico, is responsible for the processing of your Personal Data, pursuant to the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (the "Law"), its Regulations, and the Privacy Notice Guidelines published by the INAI.

"Personal Data": Any information concerning an identified or identifiable individual.

"Sensitive Personal Data": Data that affects the most intimate sphere of the data subject, or whose improper use may give rise to discrimination or entail a serious risk.

"Platform": Any website, mobile site and/or digital tool owned by the Firm to which this Notice applies.

"Processing": The collection, recording, organization, structuring, disclosure, storage, use, transfer, disposal, erasure, or destruction of Personal Data.

"Data Subject" or "You": The individual to whom the Personal Data belongs.

"Controller" or the "Firm": UNO COUNSEL, S.C., who determines the purposes and means of processing Personal Data.

"ARCO Rights": The rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition that the Data Subject may exercise with respect to their Personal Data.

In connection with your registration and attendance at an event organized by the Firm (the "Event"), the Firm will collect the Personal Data that You freely and voluntarily provide, either directly or through platforms or tools, in accordance with the purposes set forth in this Notice.

Identification DataFull name, last name(s).
Contact DataEmail address, phone number.
Employment DataEmployer, job title, corporate email address.
ImagesPhotographs and audio/video recordings obtained during the Event.
Sensitive DataThe Firm does not collect Sensitive Personal Data. If the Data Subject were to provide any such data, it will be used solely to the extent authorized and for the minimum time necessary.

Primary Purposes:

  1. To register and confirm attendance at the Event.
  2. To manage access and logistics for the Event.
  3. To issue payment receipts or tax invoices where applicable.
  4. To handle requests or incidents during the Event.
  5. To respond to requests for the exercise of ARCO Rights or withdrawal of consent.

Secondary Purposes:

  1. To carry out internal processes for operational development and/or systems administration.
  2. To send updates, news, newsletters, advertising, or marketing materials from the Firm.
  3. To conduct satisfaction surveys to evaluate service and support quality.
  4. For administrative, commercial, and advertising purposes of the Firm.

If you do not wish your Personal Data to be processed for Secondary Purposes, you may submit a written request following the procedure described in Section VIII of this Notice.

In connection with the Event, the Firm may collect photographic images and/or audio and video recordings of attendees (collectively, "Images"), which constitute personal identification data under the Law.

Images will be used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Promotion of the Event through the Firm's official communication channels and social media.
  • Preparation of event reports, summaries, or institutional materials.
  • Internal historical archive purposes of the Firm.
Attendees who do not wish their Images to be collected or used may notify the Firm in writing at contacto@unocounsel.com, or by speaking directly with Firm staff at the time of registration on the day of the Event.

The Firm will not transfer your Personal Data to third parties without your prior consent, except as permitted under Article 36 of the Law.

In connection with the organization of the Event, the Firm may share your data with the following third parties acting as processors:

  • Event registration platforms: to manage the registration process, attendance confirmation, and issuance of receipts.
  • Cloud computing and storage providers: for the secure storage of attendee information.

Such third parties are required to process Personal Data in accordance with the Firm's instructions and applicable law, and may not use it for purposes other than those described herein.

The Firm will retain Personal Data for: (i) the time necessary for the relevant activity or services; (ii) the periods established by applicable law; or (iii) the period during which disputes or investigations arising from the legal relationship with the Data Subject may occur.

Once Personal Data is no longer necessary or relevant for the purposes described in this Notice, it will be securely deleted.

ARCO Rights: You have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel, or Object to the processing of your Personal Data by submitting a written request to: contacto@unocounsel.com.

Your request must include: (a) your name and contact information for receiving a response; (b) documents proving your identity or legal representation; (c) a clear description of the Personal Data and the ARCO Right you wish to exercise; (d) in the case of rectification, supporting documentation.

The Firm will have 20 business days to respond, in accordance with Article 31 of the Law.

Withdrawal of Consent: You may withdraw your consent at any time by notifying the Controller at the email address above, following the same procedure described in this Section.

Portability: You may at any time request to limit the Processing of your Personal Data, its disclosure, and its transmission to third parties, following the same procedure. Where such limitation prevents the provision of Services, Processing will continue as previously authorized until the Service is completed.

The Platform uses cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to improve the browsing experience, analyze site usage, and where applicable, personalize content and communications.

What are they? Cookies are text files stored on the user's device when visiting the Platform. Web beacons are invisible images or pixels that record information such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed.

Upon first visiting the Platform, you will be presented with a notice allowing you to accept, reject, or customize the use of non-essential tracking technologies. You may update your preferences at any time through the cookie settings panel or your browser's privacy settings.

If you believe your right to personal data protection has been violated, you may contact the National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection (INAI) at www.inai.org.mx.

The Firm may modify or update this Notice at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the Data Subject through a notice on the Platform and/or via email. To continue receiving the Services, you will be required to accept each updated version of this Notice.

Acceptance of Privacy Notice

You acknowledge that your Personal Data has been obtained freely, informedly, voluntarily, and unambiguously, and that you consent to the Firm processing and transferring such data in accordance with the Law and this Notice, including the use of images and recordings obtained during the Event.
